The Software Test Engineering will be responsible testing various features of the LightSpeed system, develop and maintain test cases, test beds required for various Test cases and have ongoing testing in the Leo Lab for various data path, routing or RF features.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure product under test meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements
- Work as part of a scrum team in an Agile development environment.
- Responsible for Tools/Simulator development
- Keep the lab functional and update with known hardware and software configuration to execute various test scenarios as necessary.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience with hands on testing with various networking technologies or RF technologies
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of IP/TCP/Routing fundamentals
- Experience with various IP Test equipment like Ixia
- Experience with cloud technology, virtualization, and containerization.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
- Familiar with various Atlassian tools like Jira.
- Strong programming experience with languages like Python.
- Preferred experience with Spectral Analyzers, Waveform generators, RF basics
- Preferred some Linux experience
Decision Making & Supervision
- This is an Individual contributor role but will be responsible for making apt technical decisions.

- This role offers hybrid work environment (in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
- Working conditions are generally comfortable typical of an office environment.
- Occasional international travel is required
