Leadership Team

France Teasdale joined Telesat as Vice President, People in 2022 and is responsible for global talent, human resource strategies and planning to support Telesat’s mission, vision and culture. Ms. Teasdale is a deeply experienced, dynamic leader with a strong distinguished career specializing in human resources strategic initiatives, organizational development and change management for aerospace organizations.

Ms Teasdale most recently served as Human Resources Director for the Landing Gear division of Héroux-Devtek in the U.S. and Ontario where she was responsible for implementing and managing all people-related services, policies and programs for the company’s Central Region business units. Prior to Héroux-Devtek, she was a Director, Human Resources with Mecanica Solutions, Montreal. 

Ms. Teasdale earned a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal and a Bachelor degree in Management from HEC Montreal.
